Idea's for creative invitation?

I've got to send an invite out to ~2,000 of our customers to our annual tent show. We've done some interesting stuff in the past like sending out cans w/ money inside, invites that play music when you open them, etc.. Last year we sent invites w/ a calculator - boring.

Have you ever received a invitation for something that stood out to you? Looks like i'll be stuffing cash inside this years invite - but need a creative way to present the money.

I thought that, then I thought of gun shows where they sell guns, so I wasn't sure which it was. 😀

You could mail them a tiny tent made of nails attached to a flyer about the tent show. That would be time consuming though.

Very time consuming - good idea though. We're actually into the heating/plumbing/sewer area of the business.
