Ideas for a PC game to buy

If anyone has Madden 2002-2003, im just wondering if you can play other people on the net, for FREE, like CS and other games.

I want to buy a new PC game, but dont wanna get what i usually buy. Not WCIII, or Solider of Fortune, or anything like that.

Im tempted to buy a steering wheel and NASCAR, but having doubts.

Agreed... With the random mission generator it has tons of replayablility... Even though I finished the single player campaign I still enjoy playing individual missions using the random mission generator...

And I still havent tried playing online yet!

Otherwise Battle Field 1942 sounds like a good one... I personally havent tried it though...

BF1942 is a great all around game, buts its better if you have people to lan with. Success in the game really does depend on teamwork (unlike other "team oriented" games such as CS). Its definately worth buying, and even better if you can play with people you know.
