So far my only idea is a custom made graduation teddybear from the mall...

Any good ideas?

P.S. - Before anyone makes any comments, she's graduating college, not high school :D

I'm working on this, too, although I was thinking something a little more meaningful than a teddy bear.
Only trouble is her birthday and graduation are two days apart. holy crap.

That's not hard. A queen size bed for one day. Then some lingerie for the other.

Im thinking im gonna do something small for graduation and something nicer for her bday. Sucks for me though, because our 1 year anniversary is about a month after graduation as well :(

<---- going broke

BTW, wish her a happy bday for me.. :)

Get her one of those mini digital cameras, like maybe the SONY DSC U20. She'll love its small size and "cute" look and i'm sure now that she has a mini digital camera, she will be able to carry it with her at all times, and take pictures of anything at any moments notice. Heck, she can use it to take pictures of the two of you together.

I'm leaning that direction as well, although we've been together less than a month, so I probably won't go totally all-out hehe.

So far I've got a nice necklace. Actually I have a pendant which I have yet to locate a necklace for. Not sure where to go from there, although a strange irony is that my gf has a thing for "Build-A-Bear." So I may grab one of those, too, but I feel like I should do something more.

BTW, wish her a happy bday for me.. :)
Same here. :)

Maybe get her a jump session. You know, out of the planes. Then a card saying "Hopefully this is the only drop you'll make it life" or some cheesy thing like that.
A DaySpa treatment works very well too, I've done that. Or scuba diving lessons?

All of that should run in the 100-200 range. Not small change, but not so much it cant be done and enough to be meaningful.

Better question maybe...How much do you care about her?

sorry but I had to stop reading the thread at this point - this is F-ing hilarious!

oh and btw... whatever you do, use your own ideas and not ideas suggested by anyone in here... ;) as long as you're thoughtful she'll like it, if she's anything like any other girls.

Buy her time to swim with the dolphins at Sea World, or some other animal-captivity-fun-zone.

Picnic in the park....a bottle of wine, some nice food that you've taken time to make...maybe a favorite dish of her's. Have the picnic at sunset. Write her a letter about the things you have appreciated about her from this past year. Maybe include some really fond memories in there. Read it to her when you've finished your meal, the sun is on the horizon, and you're on that second glass of wine. :D Give her the letter when after you read it. Give her a framed picture of you two (in a nice frame) from something fun you two did that past year.

There ya go...best present ever.

<----maybe present her with one of her favorite flowers (make sure it's not a rose - way too cliche). Put it in a little vase during your picnic.

what is your budget? if you're already in florida you might try a 3 or 4 day cruise. it's on the pricey side though. maybe you can make it a combo bday/grad/anniversary gift.

a friend of mine's gf made a photo collage with photoshop for their 1 year anniversary using photos from all the things they had done in the past year and used graphics from their history as the background like the nyc subway map near the bottom and the boston underground system near the top. it was actually really cool imo.
