Ideal X-FI Crystalizer Setting?

What percent do you think I should peg the crystalizer at? Also- do you think I should turn my speakers to matrix-on or matrix-off? It basically creates a 5.1 surround from a 2.1 file (mp3).

I should have got creative speakers, these logitechs suck IMO.

Asking me specifically?

Well I don't have firsthand experience with it but from what I have read, just leave it off. Above 50% it introduces distortion.

Below that it's still artificially boosting bass and treble as part of what it's doing.

If you're listening to music, keep it stereo as it was intended. Yeah, you're not going to be using all your speakers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

EDIT: now I look like a moron since the title doesn't have my name anymore

Couldn't hurt to ask the soundman, haha. But I didn't want to PM, so others could comment.

I'm sure they will.

You can play with it and see what you like too. That's the real answer 😉
