I usually have $0 in cash. Everywhere I go takes debit/credit, whats the point of bothering with cash for everyday use? If I go on a date, or somewhere that has valets or something I bring between $100 and $200 in 20's depending on where I'm going. Oh, and when I go to a bar I usually bring a crisp c-note to get the bar tenders attention, then I run a tab on visa heh.

$51-$100 usually. I eat out a lot around campus and when at the bars it's just so much easier to use cash.

Usually less than $30. I use my credit card for everything. I don't eat at fast food more than a couple times a year, don't buy stuff from vending machines, etc. I have very little need for cash.

I withdraw $180 each Thurdays. I pay cash for my grocery and my gas, then the rest I spend it on whatever I like. I find it easier this way to manage how much I can spend once the grocery is done and my tank is full. If for a reason I put more gas in my car or if the grocery costs more, well I know I can't spend as much for the week.

I use my debit card for virtually every purchase I make...
The only things I need cash for are the occasional soda at work, and $1 for dress-down day.
So, <$10

I have emergency $20 on me hidden in my wallet so in case I really need food and I'm broke... I don't touch that unless necessary...

I usually keep another $20 - $40 in the main compartment... This comes in handy when splitting food etc. Otherwise I use my CC AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...

ive been around with 1,200 or so but mostly its round $40, as of right now theres about $180 and som quarters as *backup*, i voted 11-50, thats my ideal amount.

i like to have about 60

more than that and i feel guilty (its just asking to be spent)

less than 60 i start getting worried i wont have enough to cover certain circumstances
