Idea to combat foggy windows

I've noticed that the places on my windshield that I've touched never get foggy (duh).

I was thinking that if I got some oil and wiped the whole thing down, I might be able to combat the evil fog. Has anyone ever tried this?

Or you could use any one of the multitude of anti-fog products on the market that don't involve spreading oil on your windows.

Remove the windows from your car. They won't ever fog up on you again.
