Idea for open 3.5 or 5.25" bays?

I decided to upgrade my case and now have a free 3.5" and 5.25" bay that have no use.. I'm going to have lots of fans and cold cathodes and was thinking of something to control them.

I know there is a baybus, a rheobus, lcds, and a digidoc but are there any other cool things you can put in 3.5" or 5.25" bays?

I was thinking either do the lcd screen thing that way it can give you temps of your system/mp3 song names and whatever else you want. or go with a handheld cradle for your palm or handspring... if you have one. custom build a case out of a cradle.. they did this on tech tv the other day looked pretty cool but wasted a bay. Just what your looking to do
