Hi,

This may seem pretty stupid, but I presume if you have 2 15GB drives set up in the RAID 0 configuration you have one logical 30GB drive?

Also, is this method reliable?

Thanks

If, by 'reliable', you mean, 'does it work well?', then yes.

The only problem with data striping, is the increased risk of data loss due to drive failure - you have 2 drives which could break down - if either one suffers catastophic breakdown, all your data is gone.

Modern hard drives are highly reliable, so this is unlikely to be a problem for you - but irrespective of how you store your data, if it is important, then make sure you keep a backup.

actually you'll probably end up gettin like 28gb just because of the way windows works.
