Rig is in sig:

I currently have one IDE DVD/CDRW drive and one SATA DVD/SATA drive. I "MAY" have to remove one of the driives to make room for the tubing for my WC'ing system.

Any benefits to keeping one or the other. I have an inclination to remove the IDE just to get rid of the round cable vs. the SATA cable. The round cable is so twisted around to fit into my P5B IDE slot and that is the only reason I'd remove that drive vs. the SATA drive.

Other opinions??

If it's space you need, go ahead and get rid of the IDE driver. The SATA will yield a little bit better performance, but not by much.
