BoomerD He actually left the mormon church because it was too moderate, lol.

"1998- Resigned from LDS Church because the Church would not accept person-hood status for the preborn child."

Mormons is Mormons...I'm sure that even though he's no longer a "member,' he still follows the parts of the teachings that he likes and agrees with...sort of like the Mormon Fundamentalist cults who still practice polygamy...

Same here, thing is I don't even remember seeing his name on the ballot, but that was 2 weeks ago.
 
We lived in several parts of the "Great Potato State" over the years.

Post Falls/CDA, Salmon/Challis/Stanley, Poke-a-Fellow, plus I worked in many other parts of the state as a "transient construction worker."
MOST of the state is pretty nice. Southern Idaho is too Mormon for my liking...but still has good hunting & fishing.

Meh. I'm just saying, you say he is screwy because he is a mormon, I would argue that he is both screwy and mormon. I think this guy would have been nuts if he was an Atheist or common christian.




Anyways... Just saying, I got a good kick out of seeing his name on the ballot, and an even bigger one when I saw his positions were nuttier then his name change.
