After a couple of years of claiming some other dude did it, he's taking a plea deal.
Apparently it is in exchange for dropping the death penalty. He gets life with no possibility of parole and, according to the article, the families of the deceased aren't happy with the deal. Not quite sure if there's much difference. Idaho has the death penalty but has only executed 3 people in the last 50 years.

"Kohberger, 30, will now plead guilty to the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20 in their off-campus home in November 2022. He will also admit a burglary charge stemming from the same incident. "

Wow, seen nothing about it on the box. Losing the ability through the destruction Medicare to keep Aunt Edna in the home, seems fortunately to have been a higher news items today.

Oye, seriously going to disable this damn touchpad on my new laptop. As usual, touch typing, I can't seem to ever keep my palm heels from moving things around. Back to my logi mouse.

It was all over the 5 o'clock news. (Seattle stations)
In the end, life in prison (with no posibility of parole) and sentenced to death will result in him serving life in prison. On death row he might be better protected...and get better treatment than just in gen pop.
