You mean besides removing Senator Fritz Hollings (D - Disney) from his position? I would institute changes such that large corporations and other special interest groups would find it very difficult indeed to buy legislation whenever they felt their profits or their business model were at risk.

Cut government salaries? I am sure you mean those of elected officials. Being in the military, it saddens me to stand in the welfare line while in uniform.
I do agree our elected officials get paid too much AND have perks. Cut one or the other.

Flat Tax. Yep You earn $1M you pay 10%, you make $10,000 you pay 10%. Is that fair?

Since we live in the age of communication, one person, one vote. We do not need the electoral college now since votes can be tallied almost immediately. (For most states anyway.../snicker)

Keep your grubby claws off my internet!

I personally like the idea of isolationism. But, I actually come to my senses and see it as a bad thing.

Basically everything CPA said.
Adding campaign contribution reform, stricter rules on lobbying & "soft money"
I'm not so sure anymore. We've clamped down on political parties and how they gain and use funds and it hasn't helped one damn bit. Term limits might help as it would change the reasons people seek public office.

My two favorites are 1) getting the federal government completely out of education as they have done far more harm than good. I'd go so far as amending the constitution to prevent that from ever happening again. A well educated populous is central to maintaining the republic.

2) I would also ban or greatly reduce the federal income tax. This money allows the federal government's mischief both domestic and abroad. The idea of a national sales tax is a good one and is constitutional but would it stiffle the economy if abused? The effect of the income tax change would likely more than offset that danger, though.

Senator Fritz-chipswould be the first to go. Next, my executive order for the RIAA to disband would go in effect.

I'd kill SS
legalize pot, E, 'shrooms, and maybe some other stuff
reform welfare, medicaid, and medicare (possibly just kill them all together)
Cut off Amtrak's funding
Get more utilities privatized
kill corporate welfare
stop subsidizing farmers
maybe move towards a graduated flat tax (subtract like $10k from your salary and pay tax on that)
Add in some term limits

That's about it...Oh yeah, I'd kill all who oppose me. :)
