I think Russell is the perfect fit for Oakland. Oakland/Al Davis has always loved the deep passing game and have Randy Moss for a deep threat. I don't know about Troy Smith but Russell can sit in the pocket, roll out, and flick it for 80 yards.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but the only similarities between Aaron and Russell are that they're both black.

So was Flutie and so is Brees.

The only time Ive ever watched Quinn was in the bowl game yesterday and he sucked hard. No way he deserves to get picked first, much less the first round.

Russell looked very impressive. He has a big arm with good accuracy, and can scramble downfield like a 6'6" fullback. :)

Troy Smith is kinda undersized. mEH

I'm not saying Smith won't play in the NFL as a QB, but how many successful small QBs are there? He should be like Randle-El or Heinze Ward and switch~.

He's an accurate passer, with good pocket poise with football smarts and the ability to escape the rush. What more do you want from your QB?

Smith is no more than a product of the system in Ohio State. You'd be a Heisman winner too if you had the supporting cast he has.
