She doesn't have the same richness that Adele has, it just sounds a bit...reedy. She also sounds a bit too cheerful. This isn't supposed to be a cheerful song. Other than that, it's pretty good. Her voice is brilliant.

this song is made glorious by rasp and growling. the kid, more than anything, is far too young to have her heart crushed, which is what this song is about. she doesn't know revenge, she doesn't know that kind of pain. ....not quite sure she knows what she's singing about. this stuff is important.

I like Legend, but I do agree with the other poster that the drums in the original are half of the song. Could be that it is simply what we are used to and we expect it, but this is almost a completely different song because of it.
