Id rather be waterboarding

Yesterday I waited on two national guardsmen and their wives. They had just gotten back from Iraq. One of them was wearing a black tee shirt. Written on it in white letters was "Id rather be" and then below it in red "waterboarding".

Was he wearing a tee shirt saying he would rather be torturing people or am I missing something?

You don't seem to understand that not everyone is opposed to waterboarding our enemies in order to get information that may save American lives. I certainly am not.

Oh, I think it's hilarious.

I dunno, but I love the idea of making fun of things in such a way that people would get REALLY pissed off at me.

I'm sure that's what he was going for, and it seems like a really immature attitude.

I have that shirt. I love it, but sadly have only gotten one person to comment on the mockery of Che. 🙁
I need to order a new one though, current one is now a little too small to wear.

I have the Maddox Che-esque t-shirt, and I had someone ask me if I knew who the guy on my t-shirt was. I responded that it's a guy who writes funny stuff on the Internet. Only afterward did I realize she thought it was really Che, and she probably thought I was retarded for thinking Che Guevara is a guy who writes funny stuff on the Internet.

That was 5 years ago when Maddox still wrote funny stuff on the Internet instead of whatever the hell he's doing now.

Isn't water boarding when you hook up a surf board to a boat? Or here, it would be hooking one up to a ski-doo and going on the river. 😛

Back when I was a torturer for the Viet-Cong, I used to waterboard on a regular basis. Most of the troops took quite well to it, in fact, some even enjoyed it. It was a break from the usual bamboo slivers up their fingernails and genital electrocution, so the waterboarding was more like a massage to them. Heh, one guy, a lieutenant colonel, actually managed to fall asleep! I found this amusing, so I just stuffed him back into his isolation box for a few days. Anyway, I'm sure the guy you saw wearing the shirt had some fond memories of waterboarding, which prompted him to purchase and wear it. Now that I'm aware that such a shirt exists, I plan on doing the same.
