Oh, right. All of my friends are douchebags. How could I have forgotten to mention that?!? I'm not going to bore you with all the cool things we've gone on to do because clearly they are below you.

Maybe you missed the part where I mentioned Honors dorms. Pretty sure you had to carry a 3.2 GPA to even live there. Oh well.

I consider myself an introvert but there comes a point where you need interaction with other people. At the end of the day when you take away jobs, money, possessions, etc - friends and family are all that's left. Looks like you're doing a hell of a job of eliminating them too. Prepare for a very sad and lonely existence.

One last thing, I'd love you hear your thoughts on a question I posed a few replies back. Where was evolution and instinct when the millions of people that have already committed suicide killed themselves?

3.2GPA is nothing to brag about. Talk when it's 3.9 or 4.0. Then you'll get my attention.

Evolution isn't perfect and the science on why people still commit suicide even though it shouldn't happen evolutionary is still iffy since it's not a very easy subject. There is no logical reason for me or anyone to go on really other than an evolutionary one. There is no reason for me to fear death other than for evolution to make me fear it. (Death is illogical to fear because subjectivity just disappears at that point. My death isn't pain or joy; it is the absence of consciousness and existence)

A 3.2 in certain majors is fairly solid. Also, you're an idiot.

It also might cost more than what I can afford. :/ I'm on a limited budget for sure. ($400-$500 a month for rent, no more) (Cheapest dorm is like $5000 a year for rent. That's maybe 9 months? That's a bit spendy... that doesn't even include a food plan btw)

Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm going to be living with others for at least 9 months before I'll even be in the dorms since I am moving in December up to Seattle. (Current college doesn't offer courses I need so I have to go up to Seattle to take courses at a different college before I can even go to UW)

Who the hell is going to want to live with a little douchebag like you?

The dorms will include utilities. Add an additional $50-100/month to your monthly rent and cost is the same

Exactly. What's your cumulative GPA, TridenT? I'm going to be more disappointed than I already am if it's anything short of perfect. I'd be willing to bet you're blowing a lot of smoke considering your frequent posts about homework and

You apparently missed my point anyways. Requiring a 3.2 GPA helps keep the people that are only in school to party out of that particular dorm. Middlebrook Hall was excellent about enforcing quiet hours. There were far less people living there and a max of four people per bathroom. Pretty much exactly what you say you're looking for.

I'll give you another pointer. If you live off campus in a college neighborhood, prepare to pay through the nose for a one bedroom or efficiency apartment. Good luck finding anything decent for 400-500 dollars. Further more, you'll still be surrounded by a bunch of drunks anyways.

If you're concerned about your schooling, you'd be better off living in the dorms for at least a year.

I'm not getting a place on my own. I'll be renting a room from someone. The places on your own are a minimum of $700/month (very small studio types) just for rent anywhere near the university or city center.

Because of the partying associated with college neighborhoods I will not be living in one unless I get a pretty sweet deal on a room that is soundproofed or something.

I'm including utilities in the cost. And, considering I am going to try to not be home very often... many people will want me. The less the place costs to live in, the more I'll be out.

Dear Diary,

Today I saw a puppy. It was white and fluffy. It made me giggle inside. My outside still cried though.

I know this is your MO and everything but answer the question. What's your cumulative GPA?

Now, I understand your grip on reality leaves quite a bit to be desired but if you think you're going to find a soundproofed room being rented out on the cheap, you're out of your mind.

Many people will want you? What the fuck are you talking about? You're so delusional it's going to be hilarious when you actually make it out into the real world.

I don't know what it is. I'm on honor roll, I know that at least. It's not even an accurate representation anyway because I have a bad grade on there from a very complicated situation which was not my own doing.

I never said I demanded a soundproofed room anywhere. I just said if I was living in a college neighborhood. You love to make arguments for things that were very clear to begin with.

Last I checked almost everyone wants someone who will be out of the house most of the time.

Blah blah blah - it's not my fault. Whaaaaa! Same shit, different scoop. I remember your lame post about the 'situation which was not your own doing' and, like usual, there were many suggestions given on how to deal with it. Surprise surprise, you didn't listen to any of them.

I know you never demanded a soundproof room. I merely pointed out that if you think you're going to find a soundproofed room for cheap, in a college neighborhood of all places, you're out of your mind. I stand by that. I lived in college neighborhoods for 3 years. The walls are never thick enough and the person below or above you always makes far too much noise at all hours of the night. It's part of the deal.

Furthermore, you're not very clear - ever:

And, considering I am going to try to not be home very often... many people will want me.

That sentence, the one I was talking about all along, makes zero sense. If you really think that's a grammatically correct sentence, I seriously doubt you are on any Honor roll. After looking at it for the better part of five minutes, I FINALLY realized what you intended to say.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but you're attempting to say that you won't be home, therefore plenty of renters would like to have you stay with them. Congratulations on horrible sentence structure. Now, this is only my guess (along with nearly everyone here on ATOT, I'm sure), but as soon as a landlord spent 10 minutes with your dumb ass, I'm sure they'd let you know they've already rented the room to someone else.

Oh, and what's your GPA again? I could go online and tell you mine in about 30 seconds. I'm sure you could do the same.

Uh, what are you talking about? There were no suggestions. I was screwed. I couldn't do shit to get a good grade.

Checked the GPA. 3.5 with the F on my record. Without on the record, it'd be a 3.89. That's why I am retaking the class. :|

Doubt it. I'm exactly what they want.

Just keep telling yourself that. It's funny you think you know what a landlord is looking for since, you know, you've never lived out of the house... I, along with the rest of OT, will be here for the "I told you so" posts when reality sets in. Of course, you'd actually have to follow through and move to Seattle and attend school. I'm not going to hold my breath on that one...

You have not refuted my argument.

That you don't know what a nihilist is and that you don't know English very well? See previous twenty posts made by you. I rest my case.

Yes. When people drop the class for a group project that is worth a very significant portion of your grade... then it is someone else's fault. Stop trying to one-up me.

Get a life. All you do is post on ATOT in my threads. You criticize me, but here you are, a peon, doing nothing but being the lifelessness you wish to criticize me for.

Dodge, parry, attack.

Trident I started reading the thread and was going to reply with some positive encouragement, however upon further reading came to the same conclusion as everyone else that you are arrogant and hopeless.

Maybe the reason you dont get laid even by the chicks you think are a 8 or 9 is because you belittle them about their minor imperfections. I bet its a real turn off having some guy ramble on about how jobs are moot unless they pay a lot of money. Boy that really sounds like a winner for said chick to date.

Grow up, drop the high horse attitude and work for what you want like everyone else on this planet. I would be ashamed of your attitude if I was one of your parents.

You pulled me out of lurk status. I am not happy.

1,232 posts is not lurk status by any measure.

I've had people who lurk for 10 years just to post in my threads for their 3rd time. That's true lurker status.
