Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Afro Samurai and Trigun is good.

I don't watch anime and that's the stuff I enjoy.

forgot, i just saw an anime take on the highlander movies called "highlander: search for venegence"

it was surprisingly badass, looked like it was done by the same folks who did ninja scroll

Full Metal Alchemist (new and old series, old is better imo, great plot very original) 10/10
Deathnote (a bit on the emokid side but not a bad plot)9/10
Monster (most people dont know this one, its more an adult mystory/murder anime. very good)9/10
One Piece (jesus christ ive been watching it for the last 6 years. Its HORRIBLE in the beginning but the story is so fucking long it grows on you untill youre hooked. Pirates.)10.5/10
Naruto/Bleach (DBZ 2.0)8.5/10
Claymore (everyone here should watch it. 9.5/10 - 26 episodes Half demon chick fighters with huge fucking swords. DBZ with claymores and babes and better plot/art)9.5/10
Dennou Coil (Starnge fucking anime. Virtual reality type deal but through glasses, original plot more for a younger audience at first then gets a bit deeper)9/10
Last Exile (Very 'Jules Verne'ish.)9/10

Ninja scroll (10/10), Samarai Champloo (9/10), Neon Genesis Evangelion (9/10), Cowboy Bebop(10/10 this anime has style), FLCL(9.5/10)

Rabid Anime fans note - WATCH EVERYTHING IN JAPANESE WITH SUBTITLES. There are only a handfull of anime where the English voice actors are as good as the Japanese ones. Im not sure if its just a language thing, but the Japanese voides usually seem much more animated and alive.

If you like the Ghost in the Shell movie, there is an alternate-history TV show version, netflix has it in their streaming (GitS: Stand Alone Complex)

The other part of that is for stuff that is still producing episodes it can take a long time for dubs. Though not all anime that you listed coughnarutocough have decent Japanese voice actors. Something very off putting when some old guys sound like kids and some kids sound like old guys.
