Does anyone have any experience with the various ID fraud detection/protection products? In the last week I've had fraudulent activity happen on both my credit cards, and I'll be on my way to the bank just as soon as they open to have everything changed.
I have absolutely no idea where our information could have gotten out. Neither my wife nor I have visited any phishing websites....or certainly nothing that required entering credit card numbers, account numbers, passwords (which have all been changed) or social security numbers.
We have visited the hospital a few times in the last month, so maybe there was crook on staff....I dunno. Or maybe an online merchant we visited was hacked...arrgh I have no idea.
So...I want to try and get something up and monitoring our credit reports/social security activity...however it works.
Any suggestions?
