It's a plastic dual 2.5" drive (SSD) holder that fits in an internal 3.5" HDD slot. Great for older cases without dedicated SSD bays!

Limit 5 per customer.

The reason that this is a deal, is that the only mounting you need to do is the 3.5" bay. Then the 2.5" drives just slide in and click. And the price is the same as the cheaper plastic bay adapters that require screws for everything.

I've had customers come to me for bay adapters to mount SSDs, so these will come in handy.

Same here. I've bought a few of the brackets you have to attach with screws, so if this (seemingly better) option was similar in price I'd get this instead, but not at $7 plus shipping. Strike that, it looks like shipping is free.
 
Sorry, was $4.99 when I ordered and posted. Newegg prices change at 3am EST, I see I posted before that time, and you two after. Must have raised their prices.
 
I decided to buy one of these. Hoping it will fit in my HP DC5800 (Core 2 SFF with four SATA ports, but only one 3.5" bay (in addition to the 5.25" bay).

With 60 mounting holes I hope this works:

Received mine today, the installation works on the HP DC5800 if the last screw hole on the first and last set of bottom screw holes is used.

NOTE: The four screws with the larger washer heads from the factory 3.5" HDD installation need to be used. This to keep the drive cage securely in position.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but yes, it is. It mounts to a 3.5" internal HDD bay using screws (or toolless, if your case supports it), and then the two 2.5" HDD / SSDs mount into the bay toollessly, by just sliding in and locking. Push a lever to unlock them and they pop right back out.

I've got one of these in one of my machines now, and it works great.

Note that in order to plug in the cables for two SSDs, right on top of each other, you have to use a SATA power lead that plugs in straight, meaning the end-most SATA power connector on the string. The middle ones where the plug is perpendicular to the wires won't work, unless you only have a single 2.5" SSD plugged into this bay device.
 
I tend to use the silverstone converters. Those are metal and lots of screws; also they run around 7.34 most of the time - though occasioanlly they jump to 13
