I go a problem here. I have just installed a ADSL line by Ameritech which use PPPoe protocal. For some reason I cannot share this connection with Win2K as server. Everytime, when I try to access internet from other Win98/Win2k machines on my network, I got a LONG wait for "Web site found" "waiting for data transfer". To me it seems that the client machines can access the DNS server but no data go through afterward.
BTW, I have no problem when I switch to Win98 as the ICS server. Anyone has any idea?? Or any suggestion to solve the problem. Thanks and appreciate for replies.

P.S.: All hardware are ok and configured properly.

Actually, I heard that the ICS originall does not support PPP0e. However, according to the manual (for Ameritech's sofeware --- ENet), it is ok to use the ICS natively from Windows. And I'm sure it works in Win98 flawlessly, I'm just wonder why desn't it work in Win2K. Thanks

I have check from www.nts.com - the manufacturer of EnterNet which is the sofeware used to "Dialup" for DSL connection, that the current version DOES NOT support ICS under Win200. Just go to the link you posted here, I will let you know if it works.

Oh My GOD!! Where did you get that link?? It works perfectly!! Thanks a lot and I really appretiate you help. Actually, the ROSPPPOE prograg/driver pack is much easier to install than the one come with ameritech (EnterNet 300 v1.34) After concidering that this driver/program may potentially have problems with Win98SE ( mentioned in ROSPPPOE site. because of Win98's bugs ) I will leave EnterNet in my Win98 and use ROSPPPOE in Win2K. I boot Win2k most of the time anyway.
Once again, thanks for your help.
