ICS and Win XP HELP!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
I have two computers (Both Win XP machines) hooked together with one connected to the net through my DSL modem.
I installed ICS in XP and everything works fine. However, I had to reinstall one of my NICs a few weeks ago
and now I lost the ability to turn the internet connection on and off from my secondary computer (the
one that isn't connected directly to the net) Everything is shared fine and is working, however, even
if I click off on 'allow network users to control the internet connection' (or something close to that) I still
can't seem to get that icon back under Network Connections on my secondary machine to allow it to turn the connection
on or off. The first time I installed ICS it put an icon that said something like 'DSL connection on computer X' (or
something close to that) on my secondary machine. However, when I reinstalled my NIC again, it was gone. I have tried using the wizards and tried it manually....no luck. I posted this question about a week or so ago and haven't gotten anywhere. Anyone have
any ideas???? it is real annoying

The IP settings on my home network???
ICS set my machine with the DSL modem to 192.168.0.1. I set
my secondary computer 192.168.0.200. Does this help?

Have you read the MS KB articles Q308006 and Q314095? They offer troubleshooting guides it doesn't sound like you've tried. Also, you didn't try to setup ICS on the client did you? Before you start the troubleshooting you may want to check the device manager on both computers to make sure there isn't a problem with any hardware. Good luck and if all else fails contact MS support because if you've paid for your copies of XP you should get every pennies worth out of that money.

I have not setup ICS on the client machine. ICS works fine, I can browse the
web and check emial on my client machine just fine. However, all I want
is to get the abilitiy to turn my host computers internet connection on or
off from my client machine. I used to have that icon however, now it is
gone.
