Does anyone still use it?

Did it resort to nasty ads like AIM (they bought it, no?)

Whats it like these days?

I used it back before AIM was around... it had some nice features, but most of my friends used AIM. I tried it again a couple of years ago, and I realized how much it really sucks. As much as I hate AOL, I like AIM.

I bought 10 euro dollars (12.12 USD) worth of minutes. they only charge 2 cents per minute in the US. I've called my sister in orange county, and it sounds very good.

Used to use ICQ when I was in high school and the first couple of weeks of college. Then everyone I knew had AIM so I switched to that. Been using it since and using AIMutation now.

i use the freeware, cross IM, open source, bloat free, miranda, ICQ compatable, along with all the major IMing programs and best of all, no bloat!

I have Gaim, which supports it. I have a bud who insists on icq. Gaim >>> AIM though, so I'd use it even if all my contacts were on AIM only.
