ICQ servers down?

I go to connect and it instantly gives me the check connection error... The ICQ website is down too.

Hmm, working ok w/ Trillian. Haven't tried native ICQ though. I assume they use the same servers.

I use icq.mirabilis.com port 4000. I think that's the only server actually.

I use icq 99b on my XP box, its been giving me all kinds of hell the last couple days, the menu flickers in and out, it immediately disconnects like the original post said. I thought it was some setting in my firewall but it did the same thing with it disabled. :| buggy in XP, I guess I finally have to upgrade to the bloated and crap ad filled icq200-whatever-it is now

I tried that login.icq.com server and it tries connecting for about a minute then asks for password again, try to connect, then I guess timeout and try the other server which gives me instant error then repeat.

i think the DNS entry is messed up
try 205.188.153.100 port 4000. That's the IP for icq.mirabilis.com
works for me
