ICQ and Firewall

I tried to post this under the Hardware forum, as it's a question about my firewall, but apparently that's not the right place as it got locked. Let's try here instead.

Does anyone know how to make a firewall work so that it will support ICQ? I can message but I can't chat. My firewall is actually a gateway, the D-Link 713P.

You can't do direct connections (File transfer, chat, etc) when BOTH people are behind a NAT firewall.

ICQ, when configured properly, should be able to do it when only ONE of your is behind a NAT firewall.
