Icons on my Desktop changing without reason!

The zipped files lying on my desktop have 'normal' winzip association icon. Then suddenly as i was surfing the next those icons changed to something else (a greenish pyramid with a human eye in it).

Any idea what might cause that?

Logging of and back on again fixed the icons again but its still weird!
 
that sounds like the all seeing eye icon, but i'm not sure what is causing it, i have got that problem in the past and just ignored it.
