icons in IE6links bar

Anyone would know why sometimes I can have these icons appearance according to particular site , and other times just generic IE icons?
I can't figure out what is causing it. Maybe ISP settings/proxy ?

That is the website's Favicon. IE allows for websites to add a line to thier code that brands the bookmark with their custom icon. If you don't like having all those favicons in your Favorites folder just right click, Properties, Change Icon, and select the default IE icon. Then clear your browser's cache as that is where the Favicon is stored.

Thx, DrMoreau.

It seems like they only work sometimes. I don't mind to have different icons in the links toolbar; I tried not to clear browser's cache, but maybe it's being clear on exit or reboot automatically. Anyway, I'll check out more info...
