the topic at hand is apple renting a service instead of providing their own.
NO
You called me out. The topic at hand is you backing up your claims about me.
Please don't change the subject.

The subject is apple iCloud running on a non-apple service.
lols. Except apple doesn't make anything. So that doesn't work. None of their hardware is made by them and they can't even build their own cloud services. It's quite telling of the company. I wouldn't invest so heavily in a company that relies so heavily on others for their tech.
I suppose that means that no companies make anything except for manufacturers.
Someone can assemble a product, and still call themselves a manufacturer.
The problem comes in when a company neither assembles, or manufacturers a product from raw materials.
When you call dell and order a workstation, there is the workstation assembled?
When you call Apple and order a Mac Pro, there is a Mac Pro assembled.... I don't get your point.
when you call apple and order an ipod/ipad, it was probably made by foxconn, and resold by apple.
But it was constructed by a subcontractor.... Who gives a shit?
Assets bitches

The product is not a "real" apple product, its a foxconn product.
Where does an idea end, and the physical product start? How do you justify an idea as a tangible product?

When you buy a computer from anyone it's a collection of Intel etc etc products, who gives a shit. an iPod is clearly an apple product, they designed it, contracted it out etc. If you can't see that then this conversation is pointless.
He obviously can't see that. His brain must be too small to compute.
Texashiker is providing lots of lulz for me. Sure Apple might not have assembled an iPod/iPad/iPhone in their own plant, but designing and giving direction to someone you contract out is like an extension of your business.
lol!! Could someone photoshop that or another phrase in the pic?

wow you are an idiot. It would only matter if foxconn could make the same devices without apple.
By that logic, Bose or Sennheiser does not make headphones.
No company makes their own stuff.
You are saying foxconn can not make their own products?
The employees at apple do the designing. Employees are portable, foxconn hires a few people, and guess what, who needs apple?
Does Bose and Sennheiser own the manufacturing plants, supervise the construction and ensure quality control?
Please do not use blanket statements, I worked in manufacturing for around 14 years. and we produced our own products.
no. They don't. I worked for bose, so I would know. In fact, Bose, Senheisser, and a bunch of other audio headphones are made at the same plant in China.
So, when did you leave the manufacturing industry?
