My girlfriend's church believes that any 4/4 timed measures with accents on the 1st and 3rd beats is the music of the devil. She likes the stripes though *S*

Horrible song. I hate The White Stripes, and I hate this song more than most of their songs.

It's pretty much the only song Alt Nation on Sirius plays that I will shut off the radio for.

I like the song.. the energy and such..

But there is something annoying about it, too. I will often shut it off half way through, also. And I don't normally do stuff like that......

I can't listen to it for long, but it's strange that a chruch would go 'nails' on it without a study of it's rythm.

Icky Thump is an awful song, its a scientific fact. It reminds me of something written by any number of countless high school bands, formed by angsty teens with little to no musical training or even a musical ear among them. If you like that song, I have some basement recordings of my high school band that I could sell you, since you obviously like crap.
