ICH5 SATA Question

Friend bought a ICH 5 i875 mobo.. for SATA do you need to hit F6 to install SATA drivers ? or does XP have it native ? they only have the drive for the RAID SATA but not regular SATA which is cover in the South Bridge of the motherboard.

EDIT: Never mind.. Asus didn't have it on their website, I dl it off Intel.

The SATA controller can run in "legacy IDE" mode or in "native PCI". For the former mode, standard IDE drivers apply. The latter mode requires chip specific drivers, not supplied on the Windows XP disk. Your system's BIOS should let you pick the mode you like best.
