I'm be looking forward to this as IWD is one of the very few D&D RPG's I never got around to playing.
I'm okay with them doing the EE's of these games, there is a whole new audience growing up that would never even think to play a game from 2000 if it were not for them updating them. So we will get IWD and IWD2 and then they are done with the low hanging fruit of the infinity engine since the IP problems for P:ST is not easy to deal with.
I'm hoping that after that they go back and do full remakes of the old Gold Box series, starting with Pools of Radiance. That was a good game at the time, but most people even here will never have played it because it is so old.
Or if they want to really make something most people have never played, they should remake Spelljammer.
