Should the ice maker fill up to the top, AND how cold should the water at the dispenser be? really Cold or Chilled?

I spent alot on this damm refridge and I want to make sure its working properly. I've waited the recommended time 24 hours actually its been 36 hours but the water is cool but how cold should it be?

The freezer and the fridge part work great, The milk gets REALLLLLLY cold on level 5 out of 6 in fact the water in the fridge (bottled) gets ice forming on it.

BUT why is the water not getting as cold? or the ice not making enough?

FYI the water line is hooked up correctly with no kinks and is on the cold water line.

My water coming out of my kenmore dispenser is chilled at first, not alot, but once you have a glass or two in a row then it warms up alittle. Also the Ice maker fills up until it forces the bar up.

Thanks for the reply, Sears (kenmore) says the water should be as cold as the fridge part, As for the ice maker how high does the bar need to go up? I mean damm I look in the bucket and there can't be more than 1 pound of ice. Maybe 6 or 7 8oz cups worth.

My water isn't as cold as the fridge part. I have the fridge with the filter on the bottom front and it looks like the line runs the water up the outside back of the fridge so I don't know how it could be as cold as the fridge. As far as the bar, I believe it doesn't have to fully up to be shut off, but in order for the ice to touch the bar I have to be pretty full on ice.

I'm not sure what they are set at, I'm at work now so I can't check now.
