MAGA Christians are almost all Evangelical Christians. The Christians you see at these protests are mainline protestant denominations. Evangelicals have no interest in standing up for mainline protestants. They are like oil and water - don't mix.

Yeah it should be noted that the hard core evangelicals probably hate mainline Protestants more than they hate atheists. Atheists aren't a threat to them in the same way other less extreme Christians are - the 'apostates' are always the biggest concern to theocrats.
