Hockeygiant.com is it still around? I like it cause they have a HUGE store too in orange county.

I've used icewarehouse.com. I usually put in big orders so shipping is free and since they're only 2 hours away, I get my stuff in 1 business day.

hockeymonkey is my new favorite... for years it was epuck which is the same as hockeygiant... but hockeymonkey does a good price match, and their shipping isn't ludicrous.

I also had them do a practice jersey a few weeks ago with lettering and it came out great... less than $20 too.

Oh and don't forget http://www.retailmenot.com/view/hockeymonkey.com

I use Pure Hockey because they have a physical location near me. I've used Hockey Giant in the past bc they have a store near Philly and I used to live out that way.

Ebay, play it again sports stores, other hockey players selling their gear for low cost equipment that you're 100% sure you want.

Local "mom and pop" hockey store - prices may be a bit higher, but you'll help them stay in business. Sometimes they too will have some nice sales [I picked up a $210 CCM Crazy Light Hockey stick for $105 a few months ago]. Some shops also sell used gear [consignment].

Hockey Monkey [forward gear] or Goalie Monkey [Goalie gear] - excellent prices and an awesome return policy.

I just came in here to note that, as a Canadian, it's weird seeing people refer to it as "Ice Hockey" instead of just hockey. :p

Bought some Bauer Nexus gears also $50 for the cheapest Nexus composite stick o_O

I'm still deciding on the skate, Vapor, Supreme or Nexus.

If you're a noobie and dont know if you'll play, get a wooden stick and the cheap gloves and some okay skates. Like the vapors. But for skates TRY THEM ON AT A STORE FOR SIZING AND FIT. also get them backed for your fit

Played roller and ice hockey but stopped 7 years ago. So I'm way behind to the new tech and gears. I like to stick to Bauer because they served me well.

I usually just spend $15 to $25 for wooden sticks back in the day.
