when I lived in NY, yeah. There were ice cream trucks.

I've seen maybe two in the 10 years I've lived in FL.

Yay Mr Softee and their blaringly loud music! I don't mind them so much now, but when I lived in Astoria, one would park in front of my building for the entire weekend, sun up to sun down Saturday and Sunday. The music just about drove me insane.

I'd sooner eat an ice cube off a pile of dog sh!t than eat off one of those vehicles though.

I had to check your profile to make sure you weren't talking about the city I live in. Glad this is a universal thing.

Universal so close to the border. Get away from the border and the race of the drivers/quality of the trucks varies a lot more.

When I lived in the Bronx, Ice cream trucks were like roaches.
I always wondered what kids would be buying Ice Cream at 11pm...until I was told by a friend of mine that the ice cream trucks sold more than ice cream.

We've got ice cream vans, then we've got an ice cream bike, and lastly, the cart pusher. All mexican (but then, I live in little Mexico right now).

The GD Mr. Softee music plays almost constantly in my parents' subdivision. It really gets old quickly.
