Ice can suck

So I woke up this morning and was all tired and everything but got dressed, made lunch, etc to go to work. It rained here last night and apparently is about 30 degrees out. I live in an upstairs apartment and walked out my door and almost fell down. The deck and all the stairs look like glass and are super slick. My car also has a habit of having the door freeze shut too. I decided that even if I could get down the stairs, most likely I'd have to come back up anyway so I just called in sick. I have a feeling that by lunch it will be warm enough for some of the ice to thaw, but its just annoying.

So what has annoyed you all today? 🙂

I am from Cape Girardeau, we missed out on the icestorm, we just got a bunch of rain

I'm snowed in, with about two inches of ice under the snow from the ice storm we had two days ago.

Other than my car being covered in an inch of pollen this morning (gotta love GA in the spring) I'm having a decent day.🙂

Is it ever going to get warm!? Freezing rain expected all day today, snow later, then more freezing rain. I need to find a job further south.

Tell ya what...store that thought away for a few months and dust it off around July when it's 95 degrees with 98% humidity with a major smog alert thrown in for good measure down here. We may have mild winters and nice spring/fall, but the summer months absolutely blow, believe me. My folks up in MI just looooove to call me in August and ask how the weather is.
