ic7 - system hangs on "Memory Testing" in boot sequence.

Having a problem with my ig7.

System hangs on "memory testing" dead on bootup sequence.

No overclocking! Straight 133 x17 (2.26Ghz)

Have tried single corsair stick 256 pc3500, and two kingston 512's pc4000

I am only able to get into windows if I

1) reset bios,
2) reseat the rams in dimms from 1,3 to 2,4 or other way

Once I restart windows, same problem - dead on hang at "memory testing"

Please advise!!

need more info about your system

you should be able to change a bios setting so it doesnt do a memory test at boot but without knowing what mobo u have i dont know
