Before I begin, my setup is currently as followed

ABit IC7-Max3
Pentium 4 2.4C
Corsair XMS DDR500
nVidia FX5950U

Anyways, I had a few problems last night regarding my northbridge but I just fooled around with its positioning and my system turned on. I left it on all night and when I came back from school it was still running fine as usual. I turn off my computer to restart it and all my problems start again. Now everything lights up and runs but there is no 'beep' from the motherboard that signifies that it is going to boot. My RAM has activity LED's on it that usually light up for the entire duration but now the colors boot up for like 5 seconds then shut off as the rest of the CPU still runs. On the bottom of my motherboard I can see a bright red LED which probably means something and should tell me what is wrong with my motherboard. Someone please help! Nothing has changed after I rebooted!

Some thoughts:

ABit IC7-Max3 manual to find out what that light means. I'm guessing that if the BIOS is not able to make it the beep part of your POST to tell you what is wrong. But your BIOS was able to initialize your CPU. The system isn't doing anything if the RAM LED"s aren't on. Try reseating everything and checking then resetting your BIOS defaults, testing the PSU and the temperatures and fans.

Not actually reposition but I just fidgeted with the actual cooler and it turned on.

Sorry - but what did you do to the cooler, exactly - did you push/pull and wiggle?
What probs were you having with the northbridge?
