Hi guys,

I'm curious as to why no where is selling the iC7-max3. I did a search on this forum and no one really said. So now I'm really left to either the IC7-G or the P4C800E-deluxe, unless you guys can recommend a different.

Someone please advise. It would be much appreciated

honestly, you are better off with a P4C800E Deluxe.

I have had both boards and the Asus is better.

The abit has more bling bling, but every time you have to change the CPU and you go to take off the HSF you will be cursing your head off.

hey Pclark,

The reason why i chose Abit is because I was reading on the forums and people have been complaining a lot about something with voltages with the P4C800E deluxe. Yeah part of the reason why I wanted to get the Abit is because it is indeed flashy.

I had mine die on me. RMA'd it. Got it back and tested it and sold it to a buddy of mine.

The RMA board lasted him 6 months before it died too.

take some advice and go with the Asus board. I hate my IC7-Max3 - the thing is not stable at all!

My Silicon SATA chip on my IC7-G keeps flaking out on me causing my raptor's data to get messed up..

I have never had any issues at all with my board..!! I love my board, great overclocking and now worries at all for me.

The only issues i had, was to replace the Northbridge chipset fan.

I just tried all my sources and your right! No one has it listed. D'oh! You might want to abondon the MAX3 and step up to the LGA 775 boards. Of course that would negate your current proc. As time goes by, finding a GOOD 478 mobo is going to be difficult. Good luck.

I have to agree here. Looks like LGA775 is here for a while.

Here's from someone who loves his IC7 max3.
