IC7 AND COLD RESTART ISSUES!!!

Has anyone experienced this on this board??? I went through someof the whopping 1200+ post in the motherboard forum but c'mon allowing a thread to get that big is ridiculous.

nevertheless....

I have latest bios and at first I thought this was an issue of the processor being overvolted pasyt default but I did get it to happen at 1.525v and default 2.4ghz speed. My power supply rails are all tigh 11.98 on 12+, 5.03 on the 5+, and 3.33 on the +3.3v....

Ultimately I am doing some testing now but I think it may be the symptom on the abit mobo detecting the spd wrongon the meory chip. It says 2,5,3,3 and maybe that is too aggressive for the pc3500 rated to run cas 2,7,3,3. I am running under spec speed of 370mhz cause my cpu is a B chip and have not got my new C chip. Will this (ram) do this on the boards???

Other thing...Sometimes when I restart it will just shutdown...then starting cold results in many attempts to get the computer to stay on longer then 3-4 seconds.

Just incase you haven't already set these:

Ext clock- ?/66/33
N/B Strap CPU As - By CPU
DRAM Ratio (CPU/DRAM) - 5:4
AGP Ratio - Fixed
Fixed AGP/PCI Frequency- 66/33

Halt on - No Errors

Game Accelerator
Auto
Auto
Auto
Disabled
Disabled

Triple check every connection- especially the ATX power connection.
Push down on it hard. (I've seen this a few times)
Raise the timings on the memory for testing.
