Wrong forum.

just thought off-topic had more traffic, ya know?

not many people visit the laptop forum

If that were the criteria used, no one would ever post in any subforum.

+1 vote for one huge superforum

im sure many at'ers visit AT solely for the OT forum

You should have 3 mouse buttons, if your Thinkpad is anything like the ones I've owned. Hold the middle one down, and you should be able to use the trackpoint for scrolling.

enable scroll lock

i cant find the scroll lock button on my keypad!!!!!111

button 3 is usually configured as scrolllock. you click it once, you are scrolling without holding down any buttons. click it again to turn it off.

I just always (almost always) use a cordless mouse (Logitech VX Revolution notebook mouse) with my Thinkpad T60, which of course has a scroll wheel.

Yes, I've posted here using the same logic, also gotten similar flack. It's cool with me. I've even cross posted in these forums. It's OK, you won't go to Hell for it. 🙂

Note, if you haven't already, there are Lenovo Forums where you can register and post. They have, for instance, a T6x forum, IIRC, etc.

i dropped mine from my science lab table and it was workin perfectly

I was mortified a few weeks ago when I dropped mine! My main desktop had just gone nuts and fried two video cards and a PSU and I didn't know WTF was wrong and I was in no mood to deal with having my only laptop ever die because I'd tripped over the AC adapter cord. :disgust: To my delight and relief, it was still working perfectly, AFAIK. It did fall from a table onto a rug, but hit the corner. Finally got my desktop in working order, late last week.

You realize you may be stalked and shot by the forum members at the Lenovo forums if DubbleROFL shows up there posting like he does here? Just a warning.

I assume you are pulling my leg, no offense. I was just trying to be helpful.

Go to Mouse in Control Pad. Next head to the UltraNav section. Under TrackPoint, click the Use advanced features only button. Press settings and adjust as necessary
