This is a very good deal, and it would be a great deal if the accessories were a bit cheaper

This thing is not light weight, it's heavy! It's about 5 to 6 lbs.

Your link shows a 1.2GHz Celeron, it's still slower than P3 1GHz. It has less memory, HD capacity, CD-ROM, 13.3" display. The one I posted is a lot better deal.

5-6 bls. is heavy? Try an 8lb. Dell Inspiron 8100. LOL.

IBM ThinkPad T, R, and X series laptops rule.

A series is ok but those are desktop replacement = heavy & bulky

I've had two T series notebooks and will now very likely proceed to get another. I started with the T20, went on to the T23 I still own and intend to buy the T30. They've been excellent.
The only other IBM notebook I would consider purchasing is the X series though. The R series is the low-end and I think is a lot more bulky than the T series. BTW, if anyone can find me a good deal on a T30, I'd be greatful.
