IBM T42: Swapping Intel PRO 2200BG to IBM 802.11a/b/g

I plan to purchase the IBM 802.11a/b/g Mini PCI directly from IBM. Is the swap as simple as opening the case , replacing the existing 2200BG and finally updating the drivers? Are there any concerns with regards to compatibility? T42 2378-FZU w/ 735 1.70 GHz.
 
It should be. 🙂 Make sure you have the software for the IBM card on the laptop or you may find yourself plugging the Intel back in for internet access.
