IBM T42/Flexview or ASUS M6N

I am down to a choice of two notebooks, the IBM T42 15" screen with 1400X1050 Flexview display and the ASUS M6N with either a 15" SXGA+ or the 15.4 widescreen.
I lean toward the new T42, but am concerned about the Flexview display. There have been initial reports that it is a very slow display, some people are saying that it is a 60ms response time!! If so, there would be ghosting in gaming, and possibly DVD viewing, etc. Has anyone received one of these new models, and, if so, can you report whether or not this is true or is even a factor???
Or, would I be better off with the ASUS??
Thanks,

Rule out the 15" asus - it's built on the same chassis as the widescreen model, so it's going to be bigger than it could have been.

Check out forum.thinkpads.com for info on the T42.

Thanks, I already have checked out the thinkpads forum. That's where I got the information on the poor response time of the Flexview display. I guess I am looking for any additional opinions from anyone who has seen the T42 who is not a thinkpad forum participant.
Thanks,

I just got my T42 (non-p) 15-incher SXGA+ flexview. This is by far the clearest most readable display I've had on a laptop, I'm comparing against a Powerbook 15", and Sony TR2a. As far as gaming goes I tried the FarCry and UT2k4 demos. Seemed ok to me, not bad, but I'm not exactly a hard-core gamer. I didn't see any ghosting while running 3dmark or anything.
