IBM RFID error

I have a T20 model 750mhz...I've had it for quite some time now, but today, an error showed up right during the BOOT

ERROR
0189: Invalid RFID Configuration Information Area




Press <F1> to Setup


I tried going to the RFID Security tab under Config in the IBM BIOS Utility, but all i can do in there is "Clear RFID security error status"

Can anyone give me a hand here and help me fix this problem...

See if RFID is enabled, if so, try disabling it

RFID seems to be disabled by default in the BIOS...you think a BIOS update would fix the problem?

you try resetting bios defaults? and a bios update never hurts!

ok..i've tried resetting the bios settings, i updated the bios....nothing seems to work...it got through and went to windows once but then i restart it and back to the problem again...i think i should call IBM ..anyone else have other suggestions?
