Sorry to hear that.
Im sure you realize i cant offer much help on that.

Other than stating the obvious stuff to try.
(which im sure you have already tried anyway)

Install the latest .inf for the monitor
maybe try 75hz or 72hz @ 1600x1200
Id be darned if i go lower that 72hz though, screw those monitors that brag about high rez @ 60hz... lol

Dunno about the p1110, but I upgraded from a 19" Sony 420GS to a 21" Dell p1130 and couldn't be happier. Excellent investment.

Very little difference between the two in a test I read - both got 5 out of 5 stars.

I don't run my P1110 or my P220f at 1600x1200. I love my eyes too much!

not alot help
i have the Dell p1110 21 trinitron with ti4200 visiontek card, i found that actually D/Ling monitor drivers from dell made a hell of a difference over regular std monitor or aftermarket "trinitron" drivers..
also i had to go back to nvidia 30.82 drivers on the G card, the newer 40.xx has issues
good luck

Yes, 30.82 drivers rock. I've gone back to them several times.
windows update offers 30.87 certified drivers, but I don't want to bother with that.

when you do the math.. running 1600x1200 on a 21" monitor is like running 1024x768 on a 15" monitor.. (compare the screen area to the resolution)

I use 1280x960 on my p1110, the reason I got my p1110 was so that I wouldn't go blind from using 1024 on my 15" monitor..

is the p260 a true flat screen? the p1110 uses the FD Trinitron tube, so it is vertically and horizontally flat (the older/regular trinitron tubes are only vertically flat)
