Buy.com has them $199. Shipping is $62! For a total of $261. Hot or Not??? Can someone that has or had this monitor give a review?

Ripped from the item description:

The microprocessor-controlled, multi-frequency operation of the monitors allows you to change, replace, or upgrade your system unit or use increasingly sophisticated applications, without replacing the monitor. All standard VGA, SVGA, and XGA applications will run without modification, saving additional expense both in program alterations and in retraining of staff.

You've got to be kidding me. Adjustable refresh rate is a key feature nowadays? I can't remember the last monitor that didn't run all VGA, SVGA, and XGA applications without modification. :)

I had one of these at the office some years ago. Even at $199 you should avoid this monitor. It's a Trinitron but it has a 0.31 dot pitch. It's not really usable for text at anything more than 1280x1024 and even then, smaller fonts are illegible ("is that an 'm' or an 'n'?") Your money would be better-spent on a 19 (or even 17) inch monitor. Your eyes will thank you.
