was running win xp pro, but the mouse was drifting so much, i decided to go back to the restore disks
and restore it back to w2k pro. but he mouse is still drifting. not as bad as before but still annoying.
is there a fix or a patch for this. any help appreciated. thanks slyedog

Drifting is usually caused by the TrackPoint auto recalibrating itself. Usually it only happens after you have been using the TrackPoint a lot without stopping. Be sure to make sure you have the latest drivers. Other than that, it may be that your TrackPoint is damaged, causing it to constantly try to recalibrate itself.
