IBM 75 GXP - Best drive?

From all my nerd friends who have IBM HDD's (there are about 7 of them) they all love them, several even have them in raid-0 arrays. Of course, they all have the 60GXP and not the 75, as that particular line has some issues 🙂 I am personally running a WD400BB which I love to death, though my roomates 60GXP 40gb does do ever so slightly better then mine on benchmarks 🙁 I would say go for the 60GXP as it seems to be reliable, at least in my circle of friends. AS for the 75.... don't go near it. Of course, if you just want to stay away from the ibm's all together, go for a WD or Seagate, they seem to work rather well
