Onvia has it in stock for 159 shipped. Better than 50 off 200 at amazon for sure! It looks like the lowest price on the net shipped but could be better. Anyone know of a possible pricematch/coupon combo?

I read on ben's bargains that you can get it at buy.com for $147 shipped with the new $30/$150 coupon :)

Could you PM it at buy.com with Onvia's price and then use the
$30 off $150 thingie? That would be sweet...

You can pricematch at buy.com but cannot apply the coupon. I think Staples is the only company let you do so.

Onvia.com is probably your best bet on this drive. FWIW, I ordered two of these from Onvia 2-3 weeks ago for $200ea, so $159 is a NICE deal. I just ordered two more yesterday.

They're top notch drives; been running these two on an A7V for a couple weeks now, and it's been working very nicely. :)

I couldn't find this hard drive on Buy.com, but I did find the "RETAIL PKG 40GB CAVIAR EIDE 7200RPM ULTRA-ATA/100" for 163.95 - ($30 off $150)=$133.95. Is this worth it if it's backordered, or should I wait for another deal like the recent OD $119 Maxtor 40gb 7200?

Yeah probably want to get it at Buy.com. I saw another thread posted previously regarding this drive ... might want to do a search and check out that deal.

Couldn't get the Onvia coupon to work for me either, $159 - 25 would have been nice though, I need 2 of these, maybe 4?

Actually, my previous order for these drives from Onvia only came with the bare OEM drives--no cables. YMMV.. guess we'll see when my new order gets here.

BTW, I wouldn't buy a Caviar if it were half the price of a Deskstar. I still have three of those things sitting at home waiting to be RMA'd.
