It's the burgundy color one. The navy one is still $19.99

There was 5 of them when I was there. I only bought one. No stupid rebates or Pricematch to deal with. Just walk in, walk out.

oh 5 years warranty on the mouse

I'm going to have to check the Staples by me (Arlington Rd, Akron, OH) to see if they have any, I'm in need of some new mouses ... mices ... mice ... (mouse x 2).

it's the one weepul linked but in burgandy. An old model I guess IBM P/N 31P8202 (this number was on the actual shelf price tag). For $11.50 for an optical scroll mouse, it works great. Of course the MS optical wheel mouse is only $20 too. Basically, if you need a cheap mouse, and Don't want to buy a el cheapo regular mouse for $5, then 11.50 is worth it. I am using it right now. It works great. No drivers needed.

Wish I had a Staples by me. We get screwed in Milwaukee, WI. No Lowes, No Staples... The list goes on....

Why is it not a good optical mouse? Is there a physical problem or software/driver problem?

we had an IBM guy come into our cognitive science class and tell us why IBM scroll mice were better than Microsoft ones. personally i like my microsoft five button. =)

please read the fine print on the side of the box to see if it is MicroInnovations. It probably isn't a true Microsoft mouse. I had one of these after using a MS dove bar, and if the MS mouse hadn't quit, I would never have used it.

Hmm. I was just looking at that mouse at my local OfficeMax a few hours ago. They wanted $19.99 for it, almost bought it.

I checked that link to Staples.com, they now want ~$37 ?!?!?!

What happened to the $11.50? I was going to print out the web page and go back to my local OM to PM it. Urg.

Staples B&M clearance only and it's only for the burgundy color, not the slate blue or black.

I picked one of these up earlier in the week to replace my Logitech ball mouse at work. It's a good mouse for $12, and it fits good to my hand.

It's not getting near my MX500 at home, though... 🙂

i have this mouse and it was awesome for $10AR. stevejst, are u sure u have this mouse and not the travel edition?
Yes I have a black version. I can compare it easily with Logitech mice I have, 2x wheel, cordless freedom, and itouch. All better mice. Even my MS wheel optical is better. I had a generic optical A4Tech I think and that was better mouse. Apart from a crap from Dexxa this is the worst optical mouse I have seen.

So stevejst, this is the second time you said this is a bad mouse but you never bother to explain WHY.
